Project Manager - Engineering

Role Overview

Project Manager - Engineering at KBR. This is a large-project leadership role with bottom-line responsibility for financial and technical success on domestic and international assignments.

Role Purpose

Oversee all phases of planning and execution for large-sized projects (typically less than $200 million total installed cost), ensuring delivery within budget and schedule while maintaining strong client relationships and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and control projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and company requirements.
• Manage all phases of project planning and execution on large-sized domestic and international projects.

Financial Management

• Own budgetary accountability and bottom-line financial responsibility for project success.

Client Management

• Maintain day-to-day contact and communication with the client.
• Focus on delivering client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership

• Supervise personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders.

Proposal Development

• Serve as proposal manager for large domestic and international project proposals, as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of related experience; average experience of 20 years.
• Knowledge of the respective industry.
