Project Manager

Role Overview

Project Manager at Al Shirawi Group. The role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery across construction and operations, ensuring profitability, quality, and timely completion.

Role Purpose

Own the delivery of construction projects from pre-sales through completion, managing stakeholder coordination, resource allocation, schedules, and quality standards to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Establish and maintain project profitability across all phases.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to initiate site mobilization and project construction launch.
• Arrange all necessary building approvals, material procurement, design approvals, drawing reviews, and sample approvals.
• Finalize project requirements and specifications in consultation with Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, Workforce, and Subcontractor teams.
• Anchor on-site construction activities to ensure completion within time, cost, and quality parameters with effective resource utilization.
• Liaise with clients and consultants for successful and timely project completion.
• Attend all site weekly meetings and develop action plans from discussion points.
• Prepare meeting minutes from all site meetings.
• Develop and maintain project schedules tracking each activity for on-time completion.
• Analyze project bottlenecks and implement immediate preventive actions to bring projects back to timeline.

Pre-sales and Operational Support

• Provide pre-sales support to the sales team and clients for site assistance and quotation development.
• Coordinate with approval teams for pre-approval and final approval from Government Authorities.
• Negotiate subcontractor quotations to optimize company profit.
• Submit technical materials and samples for authority approval.

Contracts Administration

• Evaluate and execute contracting works and coordinate among consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Provide feedback on tender specifications and finalize contractual requirements.
• Liaise with consultants on technical and contractual matters.

Site and Construction Management

• Supervise all construction activities and provide technical inputs on construction methodologies.
• Coordinate with site management activities to ensure alignment.
• Oversee a team of Engineers across various job types and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Prepare and review method statements and work-specific quality control plans.
• Ensure materials received meet quantity and quality requirements.
• Supervise day-to-day site progress activities and take immediate action against project bottlenecks.
