Project Manager – Building Design, Strategy & Growth with AECOM, a global infrastructure consulting firm. Based in the UAE, this role joins the Buildings + Places business unit.

Role Purpose
This strategic role bridges project delivery expertise with business development, positioning you to shape and secure major building design commissions across the Middle East. You will lead the identification and pursuit of significant opportunities while managing complex multidisciplinary design projects and contributing to business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy
- Lead the identification, development, and positioning of major building design opportunities and client pursuits
- Support strategic business decisions and client relationship development at the pre-contract phase
- Contribute to business growth initiatives by leveraging deep understanding of design delivery and commercial performance
Commercial & Delivery
- Apply project delivery expertise to inform commercial pricing, scope definition, and proposal strategy
- Manage multidisciplinary design teams across complex projects, overseeing scope, schedules, resources, and risk
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Design Manager, or Lead Design Consultant in a multidisciplinary building design consultancy
- Experience working with major clients on complex architectural and engineering projects
- Deep understanding of design delivery processes, resource planning, and program management
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, profitability, and risk
- Strategic mindset with ability to balance project execution with business development objectives
