Project Engineer (Outsource)

Role Overview

Project Engineer (Outsource) at ADIB, located in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Role Purpose

Assist the PMC by reviewing progress payment documents, conducting site visit inspections, verifying and approving payment percentages, preparing project files and cash flow analyses, and handling FTA applications including VAT verification and tax invoice review.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Documentation

• Collect and review project documents.
• Prepare project files, project breakdowns, and cash flow analyses.
• Meet with project parties including owner, contractor, and consultant.
• Verify progress payment percentages and prepare supporting breakdowns.

Payment & Compliance Review

• Conduct site visit inspections for progress payments.
• Verify and approve payment percentages.
• Review VAT refund eligibility.
• Review VAT invoices and prepare FTA reports.

FTA & Reporting

• Review FTA cases and applications.
• Contact clients regarding FTA matters.
• Prepare draft VAT verification reports.
• Ensure a high standard of report output.

Process & Risk Management

• Analyse and document business processes and problems to develop solutions that enhance efficiencies.
• Monitor exposure to risk and compliance within the PMC department.

Professional Conduct

• Provide a high level of customer service and care.
• Present the company in a professional manner in all business fields.
• Pursue self-development and continuing personal development.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum three years' experience working in a similar role.

Skills & Competencies

• Good engineering knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
