Role Purpose
Support the planning, execution, and coordination of marine EPC construction projects. Manage engineering, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of marine construction projects including piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, and other marine infrastructure works.
- Participate in project planning, resource allocation, and construction sequencing activities.
- Assist in managing project interfaces and resolving technical and construction-related issues.
Engineering & Documentation
- Review and prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and engineering documentation.
- Prepare progress reports, site records, technical correspondences, and project status updates.
Stakeholder & Procurement Management
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support procurement activities by evaluating materials, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders and provide technical guidance to site teams.
Project Control & Compliance
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
Commercial & Contractual Support
- Support commercial and contractual matters, including variations, claims, and project documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in marine construction projects, preferably within the UAE/GCC.
- Proven experience in the execution of marine EPC projects involving piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, and similar marine infrastructure works.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing technical submittals, method statements, material approvals, and project reports.
- Good understanding of project controls, scheduling, QA/QC, HSE requirements, and commercial aspects of construction projects.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and project coordination.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.
Additional Information
- Valid UAE Driving License required.
- UAE/GCC marine construction experience preferred.
- Experience working with EPC contractors on large-scale marine infrastructure projects preferred.
