Project Engineer

Role Overview

Project Engineer at Al Shirawi Group, responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of AC and ventilation systems.

Role Purpose

To manage the technical and operational delivery of HVAC projects from design interpretation through final certification, coordinating between internal teams, external consultants, clients, and field personnel to ensure systems are installed to specification and timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Execution

• Read and interpret HVAC layouts and system designs.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of air conditioning equipment and installation practices.
• Visit sites regularly to evaluate scope of works and technical requirements.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with consultants and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with vendors, office staff, and the procurement department.
• Manage relationships between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Field Management & Supervision

• Manage and direct field workers and technicians.
• Appoint subcontractors as needed.
• Follow up on subcontractor work and ensure closure of all works.

Project Administration

• Schedule works in alignment with project timelines.
• Obtain certification of completed work from consultants.

Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, air conditioning equipment, and installation practices.
• Experience reading and interpreting HVAC technical layouts.

Skills & Competencies
