Role Overview
Project Director at JASARA PMC, a joint venture between Public Investment Fund (PIF), Jacobs, and Saudi Aramco, based in Saudi Arabia.
Company Overview
JASARA PMC is a joint venture between Public Investment Fund (PIF), Jacobs, and Saudi Aramco, operating to deliver on the promise of Vision 2030 and bring visible change within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Role Purpose
Oversee complex, high-value construction programs and lead a multi-disciplinary project team to deliver infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to specification while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Team Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project team, including engineers, designers, and staff
- Manage a team of 10 direct staff, a construction supervision team, and 3 contractors (Main Contractor, Steel Contractor, and LED Contractor)
Project Controls
- Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
- Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and specifications
Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Provide regular project updates to the senior leadership team and stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 20+ years of experience delivering complicated steel frame structures and bridges with value exceeding SAR 1 billion
- Strong knowledge of structural steel design, construction staging analysis, and steel erection
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role
- Experience with ACP cladding and large LED screens (optional)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
Additional Information
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's construction industry, regulations, and standards is preferred
