Role Overview
Project Director - Healthcare / Hospitals at Turner & Townsend, based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This senior leadership position requires an experienced professional to lead large-scale, complex healthcare projects from conception through successful completion.

Role Purpose
Direct and oversee all phases of healthcare projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget parameters while driving organizational excellence, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining alignment with healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Direct and oversee all phases of healthcare projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Develop comprehensive project strategies and roadmaps that align with organizational objectives and healthcare sector best practices
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Risk & Financial Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively, implementing contingency plans to ensure successful project outcomes
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and financial reporting with precision and transparency
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and local Saudi Arabia requirements throughout all project phases
- Establish and maintain project documentation, quality standards, and best practice frameworks
Stakeholder & External Coordination
- Communicate project status, challenges, and achievements to senior leadership and key stakeholders through clear, professional reporting
- Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate seamless project execution
Continuous Improvement
- Implement process improvements and operational efficiencies that enhance project delivery and organizational performance
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in project management and leadership roles
- Proven track record of successfully directing large-scale, complex healthcare / hospital projects with significant budgets and stakeholder involvement
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare industry operations and quality standards
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and local Saudi Arabia healthcare regulations
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's healthcare sector, regulatory environment, and business culture is advantageous
