Role Overview
Project Director – Construction Supervision with Surbana Jurong Group for major infrastructure projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose
Lead and oversee the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects from inception through completion, providing strategic direction to multidisciplinary teams while serving as the primary client interface and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality, safety, and contractual standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and oversee the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects from inception through completion.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, construction supervision, commercial, and project controls functions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
- Drive project excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives across project teams.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary client interface, maintaining strong relationships with clients, government authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
Performance & Risk Management
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies as required.
Contract & Commercial Management
- Oversee contract administration, commercial management, and claims resolution activities.
- Maintain strong understanding of contract administration and commercial management.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and governance requirements.
Business Development
- Support business development activities, including client engagement, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects, including significant experience in construction supervision and project leadership roles.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Extensive experience managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
- Experience working within international consultancy environments is highly desirable.
- GCC and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia project experience is strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of project management, construction supervision, contract administration, commercial management, and project controls.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Chartership, or equivalent are advantageous.
