Role Overview
Project Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure at Al Shirawi Group.
Role Purpose
Support the planning, design review, site supervision, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Monitor material usage, manpower allocation, and work progress to maintain project timelines.
Design & Technical Review
- Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Prepare and review method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and construction documentation.
- Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering solutions for on-site challenges.
Site Supervision & Compliance
- Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards at all stages of project execution.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and local authorities for project approvals and inspections.
- Support the procurement team with material submittals and vendor coordination.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and highlight issues impacting the project schedule.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- 4–5 years of experience.
- Past experience handling waterproofing application activities at sites.
