Role Purpose
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of functional business programs. Identify, prioritize, and execute a broad portfolio of functional initiatives while managing multiple simultaneous programs, cross-functional dependencies, budgets, and risks through to closure.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution
- Plan and direct schedules for multiple programs running simultaneously.
- Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate activities of other personnel.
- Establish scalable frameworks including processes and tools for end-to-end project management.
- Manage stakeholders applying project management standards and documentation best practices.
- Run standups and sprint planning exercises for owned programs.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management
- Partner closely with global cross-functional teams to understand and capture requirements for programs.
- Navigate complex dependencies between cross-functional teams and organizational priorities to optimize the critical path.
- Effectively influence internal and external teams to prioritize work.
Risk & Issue Management
- Address and mitigate risks across the program portfolio.
- Drive mitigation plans and ensure ownership for each item with regular follow-up through to program closure.
- Ensure resolution of risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
Portfolio & Budget Management
- Provide rigorous management and analysis of overall portfolio budget, including spend and forecasted spend versus budget, spend per program, and historical trends.
Reporting
- Build and maintain consistent reporting across numerous programs.
