Professional Services within Fortinet is an integral part of the support and services organization. The role requires on-site engagement and close collaboration with assigned customers and peers to drive customer satisfaction.
Role Purpose
Deliver technical expertise and support to customers throughout security infrastructure projects, from design through optimization and operation. Build customer confidence through technical ability, clear communication, and structured problem-solving while continuously improving skills and fostering collaborative relationships within the customer and Fortinet organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Design
- Assist the customer during the Think and Build phases of a project.
- Develop and maintain technical project documentation including high-level and low-level design documentation, method of procedure, test plans, configuration templates, and scripts.
Implementation & Configuration
- Provision, customize, and verify Fortinet configurations based on recommended and approved design.
- Recommend and implement Fortinet best practices.
- Test Fortinet solutions and verify system behavior.
- Participate in interoperability and integration testing of devices that interact with Fortinet products.
Technical Support & Knowledge
- Resolve and escalate technical issues in a timely fashion.
- Deliver general knowledge transfer to client staff.
- Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet's product line and technologies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Seven or more years of experience in LAN/WAN/Network Security Products.
- Experience designing and implementing SD-WAN solutions and FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer product families.
- Experience in complex routing and WAN environments where BGP and OSPF are requirements.
- Work experience maintaining, deploying, or designing MPLS networks, particularly L3 VPN.
- Experience implementing cybersecurity solutions in Operational Technology (OT) environments such as industrial equipment, SCADA systems, HVAC systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), or Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Master's Degree in a technical or management discipline or equivalent extensive work-related experience.
