Role Overview
Production Supervisor at Sealy Mattress Middle East (Middle East Mattress Factory Co.), located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Full-time, on-site position.
Company Overview
Middle East Mattress Factory Co. operates a mattress manufacturing plant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, producing premium bedding products.
Role Purpose
Oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a diverse, multicultural production workforce to meet output schedules while maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and operational efficiency across all mattress production stages.
Key Responsibilities
Production Supervision
- Direct and coordinate end-to-end mattress manufacturing workflows including quilting, spring core assembly, tape-edging, and final packaging.
- Meet daily output schedules and production targets.
ERP & Inventory Management
- Utilize the Odoo MRP module to manage work orders and verify Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Track material consumption and maintain precise shop floor inventory levels via Odoo.
- Synchronize workflows with procurement, maintenance, and logistics departments to avoid raw material shortages.
Team Leadership
- Supervise production floor workers and assign shifts.
- Train production personnel on technical procedures and safety protocols.
- Deliver clear technical instructions and safety briefings in fluent English to ensure unified team performance.
Efficiency & Optimization
- Monitor line efficiency and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Implement structural adjustments to minimize raw material scrap rates.
- Optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Quality Assurance
- Inspect incoming components and final products against company design blueprints and premium comfort metrics.
- Enforce strict quality standards before dispatching products to the warehouse.
Maintenance Planning
- Plan preventive machinery downtime in coordination with the maintenance department.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience specifically within mattress or bedding manufacturing industry.
- Deep familiarity with industrial mattress machinery including automated sewing, tape-edge machines, and pocket spring lines.
Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on working knowledge of Odoo ERP software (Manufacturing and Inventory modules).
- Fluent English communication, both written and verbal (essential for technical reporting and floor management).
- Additional command of Tagalog, Hindi, or Arabic is an advantage.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols.

- Must currently reside in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
- Open to Filipino, Indian, or Saudi nationals.
- Non-Saudi candidates must possess a valid, immediately transferable Iqama.
