Role Overview
Production Specialist at Emerson, based in Dubai. You will contribute to manufacturing excellence by supporting the assembly and testing of valve products in line with defined specifications and quality standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, continuous improvement, and safe working practices while delivering high-quality outcomes for customers.
Role Purpose
Support the execution of production orders for valve products, ensuring alignment with operational priorities, quality standards, and compliance requirements while driving continuous improvement and safe working practices across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Production Execution
- Support the execution of production orders and ensure alignment with operational priorities
- Perform assembly, calibration, and testing of valve products to meet quality and compliance standards
Quality & Problem-Solving
- Identify production challenges, support troubleshooting, and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Monitor production performance indicators and take action to address variances
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement tailored solutions and special testing requirements
Equipment & Maintenance
- Maintain tools, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring readiness and effective preventive maintenance
- Support automation initiatives and digital tools that enhance operational performance
Continuous Improvement
- Partner with colleagues to drive continuous improvement, reduce inefficiencies, and adopt lean manufacturing practices
- Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing to team members to strengthen collective capability
Health & Safety
- Promote a safe and compliant work environment by actively participating in health and safety practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production operations within an industrial environment
- Knowledge of valve assembly, testing processes, or similar mechanical systems
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and follow structured procedures
