Role Overview
Production Senior Team Leader at Napco National.
Role Purpose
Lead production operations to ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and operational efficiency while managing team performance and coordinating with supporting departments.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure application of all quality procedures in coordination with the QC Department.
- Review daily production reports and verify correctness to enable proper handover and transfer of information during shift change.
- Supervise machine runability during trials and production.
- Report any non-conformities of raw material.
Safety & Environmental Management
- Comply with and follow safety and environmental instructions.
- Participate in toolbox talks given by HSE officer.
- Consult and participate at all applicable levels and functions in development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation and actions for improvement of the OH&S management system.
- Manage and guide the production team to work safely and effectively.
- Ensure all hygiene procedures including hairnet, mask, gloves, and hand sanitization are implemented correctly at all times on the floor.
- Maintain tidy and clean plant premises.
Team Leadership & Performance
- Evaluate performance of staff and suggest appropriate incentive and training programs.
- Assign tasks and deadlines for the production team.
- Follow up on achievement of set goals.
Workforce & Scheduling
- Ensure correct manning per machine.
- Fill manpower shortage to ensure proper implementation of daily production planning.
Maintenance Coordination
- Secure proper preventive maintenance on all machines in coordination with the Maintenance Department.
