PRODUCTION SENIOR OPERATOR

Role Overview

Production Senior Operator at Napco National. This position operates laminating and coating machines to produce laminates from various substrates.

Role Purpose

Operate laminating and coating machines to produce laminates of different substrates including paper, plastic, and foil using solvent-based, solvent-less, wax, heat seal lacquers, and water-based machines while maintaining quality standards and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

• Operate specific types of laminating and coating machines including solvent-based, solvent-less, wax, heat seal lacquers, and water-based machines.
• Fill production reports.
• Monitor the lamination process around the clock and check for glue grammage, bonding, and structure performance.

Quality Assurance

• Provide quality control with samples.
• Troubleshoot any problems and report major issues to the team leader.

Equipment & Facility Maintenance

• Keep the machine and premises clean at all times.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and vehicles before use.

Continuous Improvement

• Propose methods to improve the machine to the team leader.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Become familiar with health and safety procedures and instructions for the function.
• Follow NAPCO-IFP safety standards and comply with Saudi Labour rules and legislation.
• Contribute to different occupational health and safety activities and attend safety meetings as required.
• Attend all training offered by the company.
• Report any incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, or acts to the direct supervisor or to the camp boss if related to accommodation.
• Immediately correct unsafe conditions if safe to do so and where possible.
• Ensure that all safety precautions are in place before starting any work.
• Refuse to perform work when unsafe conditions exist.
• Report all incidents and near misses to the supervisor.
• Use provided personal protective equipment safety equipment.
• Be familiar with the emergency response plan and location of first aid and fire-fighting equipment.
