PRODUCTION PLANNER

Role Overview

Production Planner at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Manage the end-to-end production order lifecycle from sales order receipt through order fulfillment, including order preparation, material allocation, inventory coordination, and vendor communication with affiliates.

Key Responsibilities

Order Preparation & Management

• Prepare production orders upon receipt of sales orders from customer service.
• Fill order preparation details in the order log.
• Update order status in the order log.
• Send order log to concerned persons by email.
• Prepare sample orders and internal trial orders.

Production & Inventory Coordination

• Send cliché and cylinder check requests to the printing section.
• Handle plate receipt reports from production and cylinder receipt reports from warehouse.
• Update artwork status in order log.
• Allocate materials for all orders based on updated stock position.

Data & Systems Management

• Create item numbers for all products in the product database.

Procurement

• Prepare purchase orders for raw materials from affiliates.
• Follow up on purchase orders with affiliates.
• Prepare raw material requirements from affiliates.
