PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Role Overview

Production Operator at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards, ensuring document compliance, managing troubleshooting, coordinating with support teams, and documenting all production activities to minimize downtime and sustain consistent output.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production Setup

• Validate availability of all required documents (JFT, PCC, Drawings, etc.) prior to new job start-up to minimize downtime and ensure production consistency.
• Prepare Process Control Cards for new orders and relay them to the Team Leader/Production Engineers for approval to ensure production consistency.

Machine Operation & Safety

• Operate machine as per Work Instructions to ensure safe and sound runability.
• Sustain 5S conditions of machines and surrounding workplace.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Programs are implemented on machines and report any discrepancies to Team Leader/supervisors.

Quality Assurance

• Check and sign winding samples and relay them to the section Team Leader for approval before passing to QC inspection to ensure quality of start-up run.
• Regularly check product quality and provide samples to QC for continuous inspection to ensure quality run.
• Report any quality defects to QC and Team Leader to enable necessary action.
• Check and sign product labels and pallet labels to ensure correct packing mode is followed.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot problems and request support as needed to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Fill Repair Requests, relay to Team Leader for approval, forward to Maintenance for intervention, and validate repair results once Maintenance repair is complete.

Team Coordination

• Assign tasks to Helpers and Skilled Helpers to ensure organized run.

Documentation & Reporting

• Fill Production Report documenting all Production activities.
• Enter related data into the ERP system.
• Relay Production Report to Team Leader by shift end for checking and approval.
• Label left-over Material and mixed left-over formulations prior to dispatching them back to the warehouse or Material feeding and mixing zones.
