PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Role Overview

Production Operator at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards, managing documentation, coordinating with team members, and minimizing downtime through proactive troubleshooting and adherence to work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Startup

• Validate availability of all required documents (JFT, IFM, Bag tags) prior to new job start-up to minimize downtime and ensure production consistency.
• Operate machine as per Work Instruction and IFM to ensure safe and sound runnability.
• Ensure quality of the start-up run with QC inspector to ensure finished goods are within specifications.

Quality & Inspection

• Conduct quality inspection according to the self-inspection sheet (OCL) by operator and sign it.
• Report any quality defects to QC and Team Leader to take necessary action.
• Check product and pallet labels to ensure correct details and packing mode.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot problems and request support upon need to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Request maintenance support for reparation tasks from Team Leader to conduct corrective maintenance.

Team Coordination & Workplace Management

• Assign tasks to helpers to ensure an organized run and sustain 5S conditions of machines and surrounding workplace.
• Inform helper of the type of bags and pallets to be used and set the filling scale for appropriate bag weight.

Documentation & Reporting

• Fill daily production on DPR and ERP and relay to Team Leader to track production activities and post on ERP system.
• Fill machine parameters form and relay to Team Leader for approval and system logging for better productivity and efficiency.
