PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Role Overview

Production Operator at Napco National. The role involves setup and operation of designated manufacturing machines to produce products according to pre-set specifications.

Role Purpose

Setup and operate a designated machine efficiently to manufacture the required product according to pre-set specifications, ensuring safety, quality, and production consistency while minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

• Operate machine as per Work Instruction to ensure safe and sound runnability.
• Validate the availability of all required documents (JFT, PCC, etc.) prior to new job start-up in order to minimize downtime and ensure production consistency.

Quality Assurance

• Check and relay startup sample to the production section head for approval before passing same for QC inspection to ensure quality of the start-up run.
• Report any quality defects to QC and production section head to take any necessary action.

Problem-Solving & Efficiency

• Troubleshoot problems and request support upon need in order to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Team & Workplace Management

• Assign tasks to Helpers to ensure an organized run.
• Sustain the 5S conditions of machines and surrounding workplace.

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferably Industrial Diploma.
• 1 year experience in related tasks.
• Knowledge of written and spoken Arabic and English is a plus.

• Internal interfaces: All production and maintenance teams, Forklift Driver, Quality Control.
