Role Overview
Production Manager - Audio at Emrb, managing audio production for broadcast and recorded programming.
Role Purpose
To oversee all aspects of audio production for live and recorded programs, station IDs, promos, and interstitials while developing and maintaining the station's sonic identity and ensuring technical excellence across all outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Production Execution
- Manage, plan, and execute audio production for live and recorded programs, station IDs, promos, and interstitials.
- Monitor live broadcasts, ensuring smooth operations and prompt troubleshooting of technical issues.
Sonic Identity & Branding
- Design and develop the station's musical identity, including the selection of music and jingles that reflect the brand image.
Team & Quality Oversight
- Supervise the production team and sound engineers, ensuring the highest technical and creative quality across all outputs.
Operations & Infrastructure
- Manage and maintain the station's music and sound effects library.
- Implement the latest technologies and international best practices to enhance sound quality and listener engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in audio and radio production within a broadcast or media environment.
- Solid knowledge of technical standards for radio and music broadcasting.
Skills & Competencies
- Professional proficiency in audio editing and mixing software, including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Adobe Audition.
- Strong understanding of sonic identity and audio branding.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with experience managing teams and projects.
