Role Overview

Product & Technology Expert - Trade Finance (Corporate Banking) at TAWANTECH. The ideal candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging the gap between Business and Technology teams by driving product enhancements, digital transformation initiatives, and system implementations across Trade Finance solutions.

Role Purpose

To serve as the Product & Technology SME for Trade Finance solutions within Corporate Banking, leveraging deep functional expertise in Trade Finance products and banking technology platforms to deliver system enhancements, digital transformation, and international trade operations capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Technology Leadership

• Act as the Product & Technology SME for Trade Finance solutions.
• Lead product enhancement initiatives and support digital transformation projects.
• Provide functional guidance and consultation during implementation and upgrade projects.

Requirements Gathering & Translation

• Collaborate with Corporate Banking business users to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology teams.
• Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements and automation opportunities.

Implementation & Delivery

• Support the implementation, enhancement, configuration, and optimization of Trade Finance systems.
• Partner with Development, Architecture, Product Management, and Operations teams to deliver business solutions.
• Participate in solution design, UAT, production support, issue analysis, and defect resolution.

Technical Integration & Compliance

• Support system integration with SWIFT and other banking platforms.
• Ensure compliance with international Trade Finance standards and banking regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Trade Finance within Corporate Banking.
• Strong business knowledge of Trade Finance products: Letters of Credit (LCs), Letters of Guarantee (LGs), Documentary Collections, Import & Export Trade Finance, and Document Checking/Document Examination.
• Strong understanding of Trade Finance operational workflows.
• Experience working with SWIFT MT7xx messages and international trade processing.
• Hands-on experience in Trade Finance product implementation, configuration, or support.
• Experience collaborating with both Business and Technology teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in Corporate Banking digital transformation initiatives (preferred).
