Role Purpose
You will own design for your product area end to end, working as one third of a trio with your PM and tech lead. You will drive discovery, flows, interface design, copy, and quality of shipped work, gaining hands-on AI experience while contributing to a fast-moving, high-impact product.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership
- Own design for your product area end to end: discovery, flows, interface, first-draft copy, and the quality of what actually ships.
- Work as one third of a trio with your PM and tech lead, participating in scope and sequence decisions from the outset.
- Propose work at weekly critique that nobody asked for.
User Research & Analytics
- Run your own user interviews and usability tests.
- Access product analytics and use them to inform design decisions.
Design System & Implementation
- Design on top of the design system, recording any deviation you need rather than inventing around it.
- Ship small UI and copy changes yourself with AI-assisted code, using written guardrails that specify exactly where to stop and when to involve a developer.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 to 5 years designing product, mostly B2B SaaS.
- At least one complex tool shipped and lived with: an editor, builder, admin surface or dashboard.
- Demonstrated metric your design moved, with ability to cite the source.
- Full professional English.
Skills & Competencies
- Write your own first-draft copy rather than leaving placeholder text.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools: built or prototyped with them, or can show something taught yourself fast and recently.
- Nice to have: hands-on with Claude Code or an equivalent agentic coding tool.
- Nice to have: working understanding of LLMs and core AI concepts, and where they break.
- Nice to have: enough HTML and CSS to read and review generated code.
Additional Information
- Real ownership of a product area with a PM and tech lead who decide alongside you.
- Work with industry-leading experts across multidisciplinary design teams.
- Weekly design critique with people who will push your work.
- Hands-on AI work in the product and in how we build it.
- A fast-growing scale-up where your ideas shape the product from day one.
- Hybrid and flexible work arrangement in Dubai.
- Nice to have: background in e-learning or enterprise software.
