Role Overview

Product Delivery Manager - IT at flydubai, responsible for managing the demand of business solutions across the line of business to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that deliver measurable business value, meet customer needs, and maintain competitive advantage.

Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Roadmap

• Implement the defined roadmap by aligning project execution with established business objectives and IT strategic priorities.
• Manage business stakeholders through regular reviews to ensure the product roadmap, delivery and on-going support metrics are as per defined expectations.
• Ensure all IT departments are in sync about the product roadmap through regular cross-portfolio syncs.
• Work with the team to identify and capture team-driven innovation ideas, consolidating across peer groups for playback to stakeholders with varied levels of involvement across suite of Demos, Visual Release Notes and Sprint ceremonies.

Product & Delivery Management

• Act as the bridge between the business and internal development teams and external vendors, using Product Management techniques to understand, assess, and decompose prioritized Epics into key Features, with a focus upon Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• Oversee the delivery of the products portfolio with a mix of projects and enhancements initiatives to ensure delivery as per agreed time, cost and scope.
• Ensure the product changes are delivered to the highest quality by setting clear quality KPIs and measurement across the Portfolio.
• Focus on automation of manual functions and defect fixing to ensure continuous reduction of time spent in service requests and incidents, allowing more time on building the product.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Manage external product vendors to ensure quality of service delivery and service levels compliance through ongoing service reviews.
• Ensure 24x7 support for all assigned products and systems, and ensure all KPIs and service levels are met and exceeded as defined in the respective service catalogues.

Collaboration & Operations

• Drive collaboration across all IT departments (Enterprise Architecture, Digital Platform and delivery teams) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.

Team Leadership & Development

• Coach and mentor delivery teams by promoting product thinking, identifying and filling skill gaps, and empowering people.
• Lead and manage delivery teams by defining a clear team structure, roles and responsibilities, success KPIs and metrics, cross-team building, transparency and through regular feedback and review mechanisms established in the organization.

Information Security & Risk

• Read and comply with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently report any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
• Complete all required ISR awareness sessions and follow associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (minimum 3 years experience); Master's degree in engineering or MBA preferred.
• 7 to 9 years of experience in IT Management, Product and Project delivery, and Transformation programs.
• Experience leading IT teams comprising Business Analysts, Software Engineering (Development, Quality Testing), Application, and Business Support functions.
• Airline Industry knowledge and awareness of emerging technologies.
• Fluent in English.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification.
