Role Purpose

You will play a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategies that support long-term value creation across the organization's business units.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to support company goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, efficiency, and value creation.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage the procurement team across various business units, providing guidance and mentorship.

Supplier & Contract Management

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
• Manage supplier relationships to build strong partnerships and ensure quality and reliability of supply.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and project/construction teams.
• Present procurement strategies to senior leadership.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role leading teams.
• Procurement experience within construction or real estate development, including sourcing construction materials and subcontractor services.
• Hands-on experience with strategic sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and procurement process improvement.
• Experience using Odoo ERP or similar procurement systems.
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory procurement frameworks.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred).
• Experience managing logistics contracts within procurement (preferred).
• Experience monitoring supplier performance and driving supplier relationship management initiatives (preferred).
• Experience managing external stakeholder relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics/service providers (preferred).
• Experience presenting procurement savings and risk updates to board-level stakeholders (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Business fluency in Arabic and English.
• Proven ability to partner with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and project/construction teams.
