Procurement Coordinator at IHG Hotels and Resorts. The role supports the hotel's purchasing operations by sourcing goods, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries.

Role Purpose
The Procurement Coordinator ensures timely delivery of quality goods at competitive prices by working closely with suppliers and departments. The role maintains accurate records, follows purchasing policies, and supports the hotel's purchasing operations through organized and proactive coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
- Source goods and identify suitable suppliers.
- Obtain quotations from vendors.
- Prepare purchase orders.
- Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Follow purchasing policies and procedures.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Liaise with hotel departments to understand purchasing needs.
- Ensure quality products arrive on time at competitive prices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in hospitality.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Jana system.
