Role Purpose

Supervise the process equipment maintenance team to ensure daily production targets are met on schedule, maintain the highest standards of equipment excellence, and drive continuous improvement in operational reliability across assigned production areas.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Manage and supervise the process equipment maintenance team of multi-skill technicians and senior technicians under assigned section (dose form/scope of line as per Organization chart).
• Develop strong supervisory skills in dealing with multi-skill teams with evolving progress toward Manager level.

Maintenance Operations

• Engage self and team to deal with day-to-day routine maintenance and troubleshooting of operational issues in production area equipment to ensure daily production targets are met as per schedule.
• Prepare and execute documented maintenance work plans, equipment maintenance SOPs, and planned preventive maintenance in respective assigned areas.
• Carry out spare parts assessment and maintain spare parts inventory effectively, including GxP Spares.
• Order, follow up on and receive spares and lubricants as stated in SOPs.

Equipment Commissioning & Configuration

• Engage for all new process equipment specifications setting, factory acceptance test and site acceptance tests, including technical handover and training during commissioning.
• Perform professional serialization and aggregation including advanced automated systems configuration and troubleshooting.

Safety & Risk Management

• Conduct risk-based maintenance requirement assessment for major and planned maintenance with all safety measures in place.
• Investigate, identify and document the root cause of breakdowns for all GxP, EHS and Business critical equipment through structured problem-solving approach (5W1H, 5why, Fishbone, CAPA).

Planning & Documentation

• Maintain, update and review CDA and PM Plan.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor of Science or High Institution qualification in Mechanical, Industrial, Electronics or Electrical engineering.
• Not less than 7 years of experience in Pharmaceutical or Packaging industry.
• At least 5 years of hands-on maintenance work.
• At least 2 years in supervision of technical team at Pharmaceutical or FMCG production process industry.

• Proven knowledge and experience in maintenance of Pharmaceutical manufacturing and Packaging equipment covering all technical aspects: mechanical, electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, and data management.
