Role Overview

Principal Package Management Specialist at McDermott, located in Dubai. This role leads the management of engineering and procurement packages for major energy projects.

Role Purpose

Lead the planning, execution, and coordination of engineering and procurement packages across major energy projects, ensuring schedule adherence, budget compliance, technical accuracy, and alignment with overall project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Package Planning & Execution

• Lead the planning and execution of assigned engineering and procurement packages.
• Ensure package deliverables align with overall project objectives.

Coordination & Interface Management

• Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and construction teams on package delivery.
• Manage interfaces between multiple packages within a project.
• Support vendor and subcontractor package coordination.

Monitoring & Control

• Monitor package schedules, budgets, and technical compliance.
• Identify and mitigate package-level risks and issues.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Prepare package status reports for project management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10 or more years of experience in package management on EPC projects.
• Experience with major offshore or onshore energy projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong project coordination and interface management skills.
• Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English required.
