Role Purpose

Oversee project control operations and provide strategic leadership to the cost, schedule, and estimating function, ensuring accountability for Project Controls performance and supporting the organization's financial targets and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Oversee project control staff responsible for cost, schedule, and estimating functions.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Project Controls team.
• Support individual PSL leadership and provide guidance on opportunities to achieve earnings targets.

Financial Management & Cost Control

• Manage cost control review, forecasting, controls, reporting, and risk analysis.
• Prepare and manage quarterly earnings gap analysis for Asset Performance Solution business.
• Support Asset Performance Solution Leadership actions to achieve business financial targets.
• Develop and provide project variances, trending analysis of expenditures, and follow-up on action items.
• Track and follow-up on accounts receivable and cash flow.
• Support budget and forecast updates.
• Conduct monthly project close-out activities.

Reporting & Project Performance

• Oversee Project Forecast Model Updates.
• Support PM with monthly updates.
• Support PEQ PM with monthly vendor MPR/Accruals.
• Run Monthly PSR meetings.
• Manage agenda of projects to be reviewed and review dates.
• Review and approve action items.
• Oversee reporting systems and analysis development.
• Maintain Project Performance Analysis Database.
• Conduct project performance analysis and reporting.

Systems & Analysis

• Develop Power BI and Power Apps reporting solutions.
• Participate in development of project cost controls strategy and systems.
• Oversee development of project forecast models.

Compliance & Control

• Conduct quarterly SOX testing.
• Support global resource management including CCR, GRM, and TRM.
• Develop and maintain global processes and procedures in project risk control and cost control.

Stakeholder Support

• Liaison and support accounting team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 20+ years of experience in O&M projects, A&F, or equivalent.
