Role Purpose

Lead technical safety and HSE design across project phases for major energy infrastructure, conducting formal safety assessments, developing safety specifications, and ensuring alignment with international standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Safety Studies & Assessments

• Lead technical safety studies and design reviews across project phases.
• Conduct HAZOP, QRA, and other formal safety assessments.
• Develop safety design basis documents and specifications.

Risk Management & Design Integration

• Support fire, gas, and explosion risk management design.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on safety integration.
• Ensure alignment with international and project-specific safety standards.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Represent technical safety in client and regulatory review meetings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project HSE teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Safety Engineering).
• 10 or more years of technical safety engineering experience in oil and gas EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of process safety and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with major offshore or onshore energy projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
