Role Purpose
As a Technical Presales Consultant, you will play a critical role in enhancing sales of assigned products by offering presales support to customers and resellers. You will convert inquiries into the right technical solutions, understand customer requirements in detail, and deliver tailored solution designs and demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Conversion
- Convert customer and reseller inquiries into the right technical solutions.
- Meet with end-users to understand their requirements in detail.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BoM) and design solution blocks in collaboration with hardware and software vendors.
Customer Engagement & Demonstrations
- Conduct product demos and Proof of Concept (PoC) presentations for customers.
- Arrange and deliver technical trainings for partners and customers.
Proposal & Compliance
- Review and analyze RFPs and RFQs.
- Prepare technical compliance sheets.
- Draft technical proposals.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of pre-sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, and HPE technologies.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently.
- Enthusiasm and results-driven mindset with a strong will to succeed.
- Open to learning new technologies and obtaining new certifications as per business requirements.
Additional Information
Preferred Technical Certifications
- Juniper: JNCIA-MistAI, JNCIS-MistAI, JNCIA-WLAN, JNCIA-DC, JNCIA-SEC, JNCIS-ENTH.
- HPE Aruba: ACMA, ACMP, ACCA, or Aruba Certified Edge Associate.
- Cisco: CCNA or CCNP (Enterprise or Security).
- Additional advantages: CWNA or Security+.
