Role Overview
PMC Supervisor (AA) with Wood PLC for an ADNOC onshore project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is an onshore site-based position within the Oil, Gas & New Energies business.

Role Purpose
Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities for a high-profile client, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. Act as the Area Authority for permit-to-work management and the primary interface between PMC management, EPC contractors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Permits & Area Authority
- Act as the designated Area Authority for issuing, reviewing, and controlling permits-to-work (PTW) for mechanical and related activities.
- Ensure all permits are properly authorized, risk-assessed, and aligned with HSE standards.
Safety & HSE Compliance
- Ensure safe execution of mechanical and multi-disciplinary works by managing and authorizing permits-to-work (PTW).
- Drive a strong safety culture onsite, enforce HSE compliance, and achieve zero incidents through proactive risk management and intervention.
- Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks, and intervene in unsafe practices.
- Ensure all work activities are risk-assessed and mitigated.
Contractor Management & Execution
- Monitor and guide contractors and subcontractors in executing mechanical works safely and in compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
Quality Assurance & Verification
- Verify mechanical installations, piping works, and equipment erection against IFC drawings and standards.
- Ensure QA/QC compliance and closure of non-conformities.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the interface between PMC management, EPC contractors, and site teams.
- Resolve conflicts, clarify scope, and ensure smooth execution of mechanical and multi-disciplinary works.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma with a minimum of 10 years Oil and Gas industry experience.
- Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company is highly desired and may be considered in lieu of capital project experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a strong command of the English language.
