Role Overview
PMC Site Coordinator (Permit Issuer) with Wood PLC, based at an ADNOC Onshore project site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Role Purpose
Coordinate day-to-day site activities at ADNOC Onshore projects, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination & Planning
- Coordinate and monitor daily site activities in line with approved schedules and work plans
- Assist in site planning, manpower allocation, and resource coordination
- Act as the main point of contact between site teams, subcontractors, and project management
- Coordinate inspections, site visits, and approvals with ADNOC representatives
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC Onshore standards, procedures, and HSE regulations
- Ensure work permits, toolbox talks, and method statements are in place before job execution
- Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and documentation
Progress & Reporting
- Monitor work progress and report status, delays, or issues to the Project Manager
Quality & Safety
- Support QA/QC activities and ensure works meet project specifications
- Identify site risks and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Enforce strict adherence to ADNOC HSE policies and procedures
- Promote safe work practices and participate in safety meetings and audits
- Ensure incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions are reported immediately
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- Minimum 10 years' experience in oil and gas or ADNOC Onshore projects
- Previous ADNOC Onshore approval
- Valid UAE driving license
- H2S, First Aid, and ADNOC HSE trainings (advantage)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, PTW system, and site execution processes
- Experience coordinating contractors and multicultural workforces
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Good knowledge of construction and site operations
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
- Ability to work under pressure in active site environments
- Team-oriented with problem-solving mindset
