Role Overview
Wood PLC is recruiting a PMC Senior Fabrication Site Manager to support a major offshore project for ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role leads all fabrication yard and site activities, ensuring safe execution, quality compliance, schedule achievement, and effective coordination between project stakeholders.

Role Purpose
To lead and manage all fabrication yard and site execution activities for a major offshore PMC project, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, approved schedules, and budgets while maintaining effective coordination between all project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Fabrication Site Execution
- Lead fabrication site execution activities in accordance with project objectives, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
- Manage fabrication yard operations, including structural, piping, mechanical, and multidiscipline fabrication works.
- Ensure fabrication activities are completed in line with approved schedules, budgets, and project specifications.
- Review and approve fabrication methodologies, work procedures, and recovery plans where required.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide leadership to site teams while fostering a strong safety and performance culture.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Manage large multicultural teams within fabrication yards and offshore project environments.
Compliance & Quality
- Drive compliance with ADNOC Offshore and Wood standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, productivity, and resource utilization.
Risk & Performance Management
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Prepare and present progress reports to project management and client representatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience on large oil and gas development projects.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Managerial experience.
- Extensive experience in fabrication management within large-scale EPC/PMC oil and gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of offshore fabrication, welding, inspection, QA/QC processes, and construction practices.
- Demonstrated experience managing large multicultural teams within fabrication yards and offshore project environments.
