PMC Senior Engineer OR & A (Maintenance Operations & Readiness) at Wood PLC, based full time at the client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, supporting the ADNOC project within the Oil, Gas & New Energies business.

Role Purpose

To develop and execute comprehensive maintenance readiness and operations plans for new offshore facilities and brownfield projects, ensuring optimal maintainability, operability, and reliability throughout project lifecycle and into operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Strategy

• Develop and execute Maintenance Readiness Plans for new offshore facilities and brownfield projects.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Develop maintenance philosophies, procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Support asset integrity, shutdown planning, and turnaround readiness.
• Review commissioning and start-up procedures from a maintenance perspective.

Reliability & Risk Analysis

• Review equipment criticality and perform Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM).
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for major equipment failures.
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure maintainability, operability, and reliability.

Systems & Data Management

• Prepare and populate SAP PM/CMMS with equipment hierarchy, functional locations, equipment master data, preventive maintenance plans, task lists, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Monitor maintenance KPIs including Equipment Availability, MTBF, MTTR, PM Compliance, Maintenance Backlog, and Reliability Index.

Stakeholder Coordination & Project Execution

• Coordinate with Engineering, EPC contractors, Operations, Commissioning, and Vendors during project execution.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Mechanical Completion, and Commissioning activities.
• Lead maintenance input during Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
• Verify spare parts strategy, warehouse readiness, and critical spare availability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years in oil and gas maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years in offshore operations.
• Proven experience in operations readiness, commissioning, maintenance planning, and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of offshore production facilities including rotating equipment, static equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems, and safety systems.
• Experience with ADNOC, major EPC contractors, or international oil companies is preferred.
