Role Overview
Wood PLC is recruiting an experienced PMC Project Quality Specialist Engineer in Abu Dhabi within the Oil, Gas & New Energies business. The position is based full time at the Abu Dhabi office.

Role Purpose
This role exists for an experienced PMC Quality Specialist Engineer with a proven track record in ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet quality standards through planning, inspection, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives for high-profile clients.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Support the management of all aspects of quality across the breadth of the respective organization and the services provided.
- Identify and regularly engage with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
Planning and Resource Allocation
- Support the effective planning and allocation of resources, including people and budgets, enabling delivery of agreed objectives and deliverables.
Business Management System Implementation
- Implement the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across the organization, ensuring that its application is effective and that compliance with the system is routinely monitored, assessed, and improved as necessary.
- Facilitate external BMS certification as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification in Quality Management, Project Management, or related discipline (essential).
- Minimum 15 years of experience; at least 10 years in oil and gas with offshore experience (essential).
- Lead Auditor qualification by recognized industry body (essential).
- Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations, Project Management Institute, or equivalent (desirable).
- Experience in the Middle East (preferred).
