Role Overview
Plumbing Engineer at MIRA Construction. The role involves designing, reviewing, and supervising plumbing and drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Role Purpose
Ensure compliance with local codes, project specifications, and safety standards while coordinating plumbing and drainage system delivery across MEP teams, consultants, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Documentation
- Design plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems.
- Prepare drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
Review & Coordination
- Review shop drawings and material submittals.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and site teams.
Installation & Commissioning
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Support project execution and resolve technical issues on site.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and project standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or related field.
- 3 or more years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and MEP systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
