Role Overview

MIRA Construction is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in Dubai. The role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems across residential and commercial projects.

Role Purpose

To install, maintain, and repair plumbing and sanitary systems in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring proper functionality, safety compliance, and quality workmanship across all project types.

Key Responsibilities

Installation

• Install and connect water supply systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, taps, and other plumbing components.
• Install and maintain sanitary and drainage systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Install and connect sanitary fixtures and equipment, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, and related fittings.
• Install and maintain heating and hot water systems, including radiators, boilers, heat pumps, and associated piping.
• Install and maintain ventilation and air-conditioning-related plumbing systems where required.
• Install and maintain specialized plumbing systems in commercial and large-scale facilities where required.

Technical Operations

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plumbing layouts, schematics, and installation documentation.
• Perform pressure testing, leak detection, system checks, and other necessary inspections.
• Work with a variety of professional plumbing tools and equipment.

Maintenance & Repair

• Carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Identify faults, leaks, blockages, and other issues and carry out required repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repairs independently.

Safety & Teamwork

• Follow safety requirements, use appropriate PPE, and maintain safe working practices on site.
• Cooperate with other technical and construction teams to ensure proper installation and completion of plumbing works.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Plumber or Plumbing Installer, preferably in construction, commercial, or large-scale building projects; experience in the UAE is highly desirable.
• Technical education or relevant professional certification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of water supply, drainage, sanitary, heating, and hot water systems.
• Practical experience with pipe installation, fittings, valves, sanitary fixtures, and plumbing equipment.
• Experience in testing plumbing systems, detecting leaks, and troubleshooting faults.
• Experience with large-scale residential, commercial, hospitality, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to read and work with technical drawings and plumbing layouts.
• Good knowledge of professional plumbing tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
