Role Overview
Plant Manager at ENOC, ELM Business. The Plant Manager is responsible for operations in the Plant organization and ensuring smooth operations across the entire supply chain.
Role Purpose
Responsible for ensuring smooth end-to-end operations of the company to provide timely and quality products to the sales organization and other customers. This role drives implementation of manufacturing systems, optimizes production and delivery processes, and maintains safe plant operations in compliance with all Group and Local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Supply Chain
- Ensure smooth end-to-end operations of the company to provide timely and quality products to the sales organization and other customers.
- Ensure timely availability of products with acceptable and agreed quality and service levels by efficient planning of production processes meeting sales orders and inventory levels.
- Optimize resources, production and delivery processes on a continuous basis.
Systems & Technology
- Lead and drive the implementation of the Oracle manufacturing system.
Vendor & Logistics Management
- Establish and operate vendor and service provider selection, evaluation and development programs.
- Ensure optimal liaison and support to third party and toll manufacturing customers of the company.
- Set up logistics and up-country stock points inventory control and monitoring program.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure safe running of the Plant, including people and equipment, by adhering to Group and Local regulations.
- Coordinate with HSE authorities.
- Demonstrate visibly management commitment through active participation in developing HSE Management system and provide necessary resources.
- Hold overall responsibility of Loss Control with respect to the Plant.
Strategic Planning & Capital Management
- Formulate and update the strategic plan for overall Plant development to reach Plant objectives as decided by Management, in coordination with Sales, Technical and Logistics functions of TFE MEFZE.
- Propose, agree and execute CAPEX budgets and contracts within the specified time frame.
People Management & Development
- Identify, coordinate and carry out training activities related to staff with the objective of leading and motivating.
- Demonstrate strong man management skills with acumen for training, development and human motivation.
Cyber Information Security
- Comply with all applicable information security policies, standards and procedures.
- Classify and protect information assets in accordance with the Data Classification Standard.
- Participate in mandatory information security awareness and training programs.
- Support information security initiatives and activities within the organization.
- Consider information security requirements when managing changes involving information assets.
- Report security incidents, vulnerabilities, weaknesses or non-compliance in accordance with established procedures.
- Fulfil role-specific information security responsibilities and contribute to maintaining the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in Lubricant or similar industry.
- At least 7–10 years of experience in Production, Logistics, Quality systems and controls.
- Exposure to QHSE quality systems preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong man management skills.
- Acumen for training, development and human motivation.
