Role Purpose

Plans, manages, and implements maintenance, modification, retrofit, and repair solutions for aircraft, components, support equipment, and enterprise products while ensuring compliance and coordinating engineering, work packages, tooling, materials, and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Design

• Manage, plan, research, and design retrofit and repair solutions meeting customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Define procedures, special engineering, tooling, kits, work packages, and material requirements for inspections, modifications, and repairs.
• Plan, organize, and control maintenance and repair of aircraft, components, and support equipment.

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead project development, planning, implementation, and technical support for maintenance and modifications.
• Translate customer, program, and regulatory requirements into executable maintenance and repair plans.
• Develop schedules, resource plans, work packages, and material requirements for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and customer representatives for timely accomplishment.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to hold schedule and quality.

Leadership & Team Oversight

• Drive workforce planning, skills development, performance management, and technical coaching.
• Manage manning requirements and foster accountability and continuous improvement.

Quality, Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure all activities comply with customer, regulatory, technical, and company standards.
• Lead root cause analysis, process improvement, and corrective action to reduce repeat defects.
• Document and disposition maintenance data in approved records and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Applicable education to generate and maintain planning and scheduling.
• High School diploma or GED with typically 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience such as vocational school or Associate degree.
• Military or vocational school training related to the discipline, or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a work visa based on country requirements.
• Ability to meet the cultural requirements of Qatar as applicable.

Additional Information

• Position requires ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance from the U.S. Government; U.S. Citizenship required. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start.
• Employer will sponsor applicants for employment visa status where required.
• This is an export control position; government authorization may be required, and employment is contingent upon meeting trade control requirements.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime; some positions may include rotating shifts.

• Position is internationally based in Qatar; benefits and pay are determined at local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable local law.
