Role Overview
Planning & Customer Care Manager at ENOC, Horizon Jebel Ali Terminals, Dubai.
Role Purpose
Ensure terminal operations are optimized through timely scheduling and synchronization of activities with sub-contracted work to achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain proper stock management and reporting to safeguard the terminal against financial liability and achieve full occupancy targets.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Manage client accounts effectively and efficiently to establish solid business partnerships.
- Understand clients' business operations and terminalling requirements through ongoing contact and regular site visits.
- Ensure client requirements are met according to agreed criteria: quality, quantity, time and cost.
- Manage client expectations and control damage in situations where service issues arise.
Operations & Scheduling
- Prepare monthly and quarterly work schedules for the terminal to maximize output and efficiency.
- Schedule terminalling activities effectively and coordinate within Horizon Jebel Ali Terminals and with government entities and third parties.
- Ensure proper synchronization between internal activities and those performed by third parties.
- Contribute to the terminal's full occupancy target through timely communication of upcoming storage space and tank availability.
Stock Management & Compliance
- Ensure proper stock management to safeguard Horizon Jebel Ali Terminals against substantial financial liability.
- Coordinate product testing and surveying procedures with third party specialists.
- Review testing conclusion reports prior to approving product receipt and storage.
- Maintain a proper Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) library with detailed product descriptions, chemical composition, properties, and handling methods.
- Distribute MSDS documents to relevant parties.
- Consolidate final stock reports to account for product quantity received, utilized (blended, drummed, paletized, dispatched) and remaining.
- Coordinate storage services with Chemstore when space availability in Horizon Jebel Ali Terminals does not allow fulfilling client requirements.
Information Security
- Comply with all applicable information security policies, standards and procedures.
- Classify and protect information assets in accordance with the Data Classification Standard.
- Participate in mandatory information security awareness and training programs.
- Support information security initiatives and activities within the organization.
- Consider information security requirements when managing changes involving information assets.
- Report security incidents, vulnerabilities, weaknesses or non-compliance in accordance with established procedures.
- Fulfill role-specific information security responsibilities and contribute to maintaining the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, preferably Chemical.
- 5 to 6 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
