Planning & Scheduling Engineer - SMP Opportunity with Saudi Aramco

Role Overview

Planning & Scheduling Engineer with Saeed Raddad Group in partnership with Saudi Aramco, based in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. Full-time position.

Role Purpose

Ensure accurate project planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and schedule control for capital projects. Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, identify critical paths, and manage schedule risks to ensure project execution aligns with contract requirements, approved milestones, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in project planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and schedule control for capital projects.
• Develop, review, and maintain integrated project schedules for large-scale projects, including oil and gas facilities.
• Identify critical paths and assess schedule risks and potential delays.
• Manage baseline schedules, progress measurement, schedule forecasting, and critical path analysis.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify schedule slippages.

Reporting & Control

• Ensure accurate, well-maintained, and regularly updated monthly schedule reports.
• Support the development of recovery and mitigation plans for schedule deviations.

Project Execution

• Ensure project execution and completion align with contract requirements, approved schedules, milestones, and company standards and procedures.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians.
• Engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Over 10 years of combined experience in Instrumentation Engineering and Project Management execution.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, reviewing, updating, and controlling project schedules for large-scale projects, including oil and gas facilities.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command of planning and scheduling principles and best practices.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and other relevant project controls tools.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Preferred).
• PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification (Preferred).
