Role Overview
Pipeline Engineer for oil & gas EPC projects with China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corp (CPECC), located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose
Lead and manage pipeline engineering activities for large-scale EPC oil & gas projects in Saudi Arabia, ensuring design compliance, construction quality, and adherence to Saudi Aramco and international standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Design & Engineering
- Review and approve pipeline design drawings, isometrics, and engineering documents.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), isometrics, and engineering drawings.
Construction & Installation
- Supervise pipeline construction, installation, and field fit-up activities.
- Manage pipeline hydrostatic testing, pigging, and pre-commissioning activities.
- Strong experience with pipeline welding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), hydrotesting, and commissioning.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards (SAES), ASME, and international codes.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Coordinate with client (Saudi Aramco), subcontractors, and multi-discipline teams.
- Mentor and manage local and expatriate pipeline teams.
Reporting & Progress Tracking
- Track progress and prepare daily and weekly reports for project management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in oil & gas pipeline construction and installation on EPC projects.
- Proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, and ASME B31.8.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Arabic or Chinese is a plus.
