Role Overview

Photographer at the University of Kalba. The role involves carrying out photography and videography tasks to document academic and administrative activities and official events, and producing professional visual content that supports the University's media message and institutional identity.

Role Purpose

To document academic and administrative activities and official events through professional photography and videography, creating visual content that reinforces the University's media message and institutional identity.

Key Responsibilities

Photography & Videography

• Photograph academic and administrative events, activities, and official meetings inside and outside the University.
• Perform photography and videography work in accordance with professional standards and the approved institutional identity.
• Provide creative suggestions to enhance the quality of visual content.

Equipment Management

• Prepare and maintain photography and videography equipment and ensure readiness for use.

Content Production & Editing

• Edit and process photos and video footage using specialized software.
• Contribute to the production of visual content for the University website and social media platforms.

Asset Management & Compliance

• Archive and organize visual materials in accordance with the University's approved systems and policies.
• Adhere to publication policies, intellectual property rights, and information confidentiality.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with Media Center teams to determine photography requirements and scheduling.

Additional Duties

• Perform any other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Photography, Media, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in photography and videography, preferably in a university or institutional environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in using professional cameras and lighting equipment.
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or equivalent).
• Strong visual production skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and under work pressure.
• Commitment to deadlines and effective time management.

Additional Information

• Work within and outside University facilities as required by events.
• Willingness to work outside official working hours when needed.
