Performance Monitoring & Reporting Engineer

Role Overview

Performance Monitoring & Reporting Engineer at HILL International. This role focuses on developing and managing a comprehensive performance monitoring and reporting framework for projects, ensuring accurate and consistent tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments.

Role Purpose

Develop and implement systems to track, analyze, and report on organizational performance metrics. Provide senior management with accurate insights into KPI performance, identify improvement opportunities, and lead cross-departmental initiatives to drive performance enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Framework & Systems Development

• Develop and implement a comprehensive performance monitoring and reporting framework for projects.
• Coordinate with IT department to ensure that performance monitoring and reporting systems are functioning optimally.
• Ensure that performance data is accurate, reliable, and consistent.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

• Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Advise on KPIs and performance metrics.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on performance against targets and goals.
• Prepare professional presentations and present them to management.

Stakeholder Management & Improvement

• Work closely with department heads to develop action plans to address performance issues and improve overall performance.
• Train and mentor staff in performance monitoring and reporting techniques and best practices.

Leadership & Governance

• Lead and manage a team of performance monitoring and reporting professionals.
• Inform yourself of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within HILL International.
• Ensure continued compliance with Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health requirements while employed by HILL.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Professional Development

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in performance monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in project management environment on large projects.
• Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience of professional project management processes and procedures.
• Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up / set-up work processes.
• Involvement in continuous improvement and capacity building / talent development.
• Demonstrated skill in management, supervisory and personnel administrative functions.
• Experience of working internationally (preference KSA experience).
