Role Purpose
To support People & Culture operations by ensuring Minor Hotels P&C policies and processes are adhered to and continually improved, while assisting with recruitment, staff administration, compliance, and employee engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Policies & Compliance
- Ensure that Minor Hotels P&C operational policies and processes are adhered to and continually improved.
- Implement corporate policies and procedures on compensation and benefits.
- Coordinate all matters of work permits and visas.
Recruitment & Performance
- Assist in all activities concerning the sourcing and recruitment of staff.
- Assist in performance management and staff discipline.
- Implement employee incentive bonus schemes.
Administration
- Maintain employee files and HR documentation.
- Assist in HR administration and employee records management.
- Manage attendance, leave, overtime, and employee data.
- Coordinate all matters of staff accommodation, facilities, and transport.
- Prepare HR reports, letters, certificates, and other employee documents.
Employee Engagement & Relations
- Assist in communication of key messages to all staff.
- Promote employee communication activities and channels to encourage and enable feedback from staff.
- Maintain a positive relationship with staff representatives.
- Ensure any employee grievances are monitored and resolved.
General
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Knowledge of HR administration and employee records management.
- Experience in maintaining employee files and HR documentation.
- Knowledge of attendance, leave, overtime, and employee data management.
- Basic understanding of payroll and salary-related HR processes.
- Ability to prepare HR reports, letters, certificates, and other employee documents.
- Knowledge of company HR policies and UAE labor regulations is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with HRIS or employee management systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
