Role Overview
Parts Advisor at Ali & Sons Holding LLC. This is a counter sales position focused on meeting customer parts requirements and supporting workshop operations.
Role Purpose
Meet counter sales requirements and ensure efficient customer service while maintaining accurate parts inventory, sales records, and associated documentation. The role supports workshop operations and customer satisfaction by ensuring the right parts are identified, quoted, ordered, and delivered within required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet customers professionally and understand their parts requirements.
- Advise customers on correct part numbers, prices, availability, and suitable alternatives.
- Provide customers with guidance on the use and care of parts and specialized products or services.
- Prepare accurate parts estimates and quotations.
Sales Administration & Documentation
- Follow approved credit terms and credit sales procedures for the Parts Dealers Network.
- Prepare parts delivery orders, sales invoices, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate sales records to support inventory control and follow-up activities.
Inventory & Operations Management
- Operate computerized inventory management, stock recording, and parts re-ordering systems.
- Understand and apply Parts Return and Warranty Policies, as well as delivery timelines for customers and technicians.
- Support effective stock management and ensure accurate parts-related records are maintained.
- Coordinate with the Ordering Section to arrange requested parts and follow up on lead times and delivery status.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and follow up on Loss Sales Reports to identify unavailable or missed sales opportunities.
Stakeholder Coordination & Support
- Communicate with workshop staff and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of required parts.
- Assist with the planning and presentation of accessories displays.
Workplace Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional working area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement & Stores Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in automotive parts, spare parts sales, parts counter sales, dealership, or comparable working environment.
- Diploma in Material Management, Supply Chain, Automotive, or related field is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are preferred.
- Computer literate with strong knowledge of computerized inventory, warehouse, and parts management systems.
- Good knowledge of automotive spare parts, part numbers, pricing, availability, inventory control, ordering processes, returns, and warranty procedures.
- Customer-focused, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commercially aware.
- Ability to work effectively with customers, workshop teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
