Role Overview
Partnership Officer at ProgressSoft. This role is based in the MENA region and focuses on expanding business through cultivating and managing diverse partner relationships.
Role Purpose
The Partnership Officer plays a key role in expanding ProgressSoft's business by cultivating and managing relationships with a diverse range of partners, requiring a highly organized and motivated individual with excellent relationship management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Outreach & Relationship Development
- Create a systematic, process-driven approach for partner outreach and relationship management.
- Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails, and client visits in MENA.
- Proactively seek out new partnership opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals, Business Development team's needs, and potentially complementary products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations.
- Maintain an ongoing relationship with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership.
- Represent ProgressSoft at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and build strategic relationships.
Partner Enablement & Onboarding
- Develop an onboarding plan and certification program for partners to be completed following the enablement and orientation sessions.
- Develop a Partner Kit and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure partners receive appropriate materials including branding guidelines, product summaries, and presentations as applicable.
Partnership Agreements & Negotiations
- Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with ProgressSoft's objectives.
- Work in liaison with the Business Development member handling the assigned territory to align on partnership agreement scopes, quotas, products covered, exclusivity, and related terms.
Strategic Analysis & Planning
- Analyze potential partnerships to assess strategic fit, value proposition, and potential ROI.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and identify emerging technologies and partners.
- Collaborate with senior management, Business Development teams, and Strategy Manager to align internal goals with new and existing partner relationships in MENA.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement joint marketing, sales, and support initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Business Development, Marketing, Strategy, Product Development, and Operations, to support partnership initiatives and drive results.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships.
- Analyze partnership performance, challenges, and opportunities to provide regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in partnership management.
- Experienced in IT and banking industry best practices, with a strong understanding of emerging technologies and their impact on financial services.
- Excellent knowledge of local MENA payments infrastructure and industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing partnerships.
