Role Purpose

Manage restaurant and outlet operations to deliver an excellent guest experience while leading, training, and developing the restaurant team to perform to the highest standards within budgeted guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations

• Manage restaurant operations across All Day Dining and Lobby Lounge/Bar outlets.
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service.
• Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Drive sales to maximize budgeted revenue.

Team Management and Development

• Recruit, manage, train, and develop the restaurant team.
• Coach and motivate the team positively to success as a hands-on leader.
• Focus on training and developing staff members.
• Conduct communication meetings and generate post-meeting minutes.

Budget and Financial Management

• Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to food and payroll.
• Set departmental targets, objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures.
• Hold accountability for monthly stock takes.

Quality and Compliance

• Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
• Be environmentally aware.
• Demonstrate strong HACCP procedures and application.

Menu and Cross-Departmental Support

• Develop menus with other members of the Food and Beverage team.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Outlet Manager role in a 5-star hotel.
• Exposure to outlet opening.
• Exposure to a wide variety of outlets.
• Ability to handle multi-national teams.
• Strong in HACCP procedures and application.
