Role Purpose

To ensure a professional and profitable operation of the outlet within the framework of the hotel, driving departmental performance through effective leadership, staff development, financial management, and the delivery of authentic hospitality that aligns with Anantara's values.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Partner with the hotel training manager to identify training needs and develop and deliver required training for department employees.
• Support the training of departmental trainers to continue improving hotel service levels and implement a daily departmental training program.
• Train managers and supervisors in effective coaching and counseling and the correct process of progressive discipline.

Financial Management & Performance

• Achieve departmental budget goals by maintaining profits through increased sales revenue and efficient cost expenditure.
• Accurately forecast business demands to ensure efficient staffing and food production.
• Be responsible for all accounting and billing procedures in the outlets.

Operations & Standards

• Ensure efficient scheduling of management and associates in the outlet and supervise the associate time control system accurately.
• Maintain outlet safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Be responsible for asset management of all outlet property and facilities and conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections.

Leadership & Team Management

• Execute all associate reviews and appraisals in a professional and timely manner.
• Lead by example through a hands-on approach to motivate associates to excel.
• Promote positive inter-departmental relations through candid communication and cooperation.

Marketing & Guest Experience

• Work with hotel management to develop and execute plans and actions for the marketing of the outlet.
• Be aware of all Anantara Guest Incentive programs and actively promote and support these.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with the Banqueting department to support all requested functions.
